It reminds me, though, that I've been entertaining the idea that thedude (the villain, not the internet troll) is unique to the Multiverse, only existing in the KOTOS Universe. If we were to go with that, I wonder how the Rogues were formed in that Maelstrom Dimension. It's not too far-fetched to have the Rogues exist in other dimensions without thedude, because if you think about it this kind of thing happens very often in the Unverse, with divergences in the different dimensions ending up converging in similar scenarios anyway.

It could be that Maelstrom agents (possibly from the other Maelstrom dimensions) infiltrated the Paradox faction and influenced them to form a Rogue faction within the Force. It's not the first time the Paradox would be influenced/manipulated by the Maelstrom (a notable case being PoA), so its happening in more than one dimensions transmultiversally helps paint the image of a more linked Multiverse.
