Gallant V was the fifth world inhabited by the original Gallant colonists, who were Figorani. During the first millennium AF it was part of the [[Figorani Confederation]], and, after its fall, the [[Galactic Empire]].

By the third millennium Gallant V was closely allied with Gallant IV, and the two were military, industrial, and logistical supporters of the Nexus Force.
