The SA cover is nearly ready to be uploaded! Recently I've been anxious over various things, and the self-imposed idea that I have to make the best possible moves in Diplomacy has been one of those, so I decided to take today to distance myself from that a bit, and stop stressing over it and remember it's just a game. :P So I busied myself with coloring the SA cover! And it's... so... close!....

-Earlier-

Me: Yes! Finally, all is complete!!

Me: -Holds out paper and looks at it critically- Acceptable work, Me. So what is the backround going to be?

Me: The backround? Did I say I was going to do that?

Me: You absolutely did. I suggest making the backround look like ashes. That was a previous idea.

Me: Uhh, okay, let's see how that would work. -Pulls out color-testing paper and tries to make an ashy backround, and finishes in a few minutes-

Me: -Looks down at the paper carefully- This is awful!! It looks like a black and grey leopard pelt! ...Which isn't uncool but definitely not what we're looking for here.

Me: Argh. You know what, I'm just going to keep it simple. That'll help the characters stand out more anyway.

Me: Mmm, alright. I suppose. So, what do you have in mind?

Me: I'll just make the backround grey and have it fade out.

Me: Will it fade out towards the characters, or fade out towards the edges?

Me: ....WHY DO YOU HAVE TO MAKE EVERYTHING SO COMPLICATED, ME?!

Me:Â ''It has to be perfect. It has to be perfect. It has to be perfect. And if you make the wrong choice and it fades out the wrong way, IT WON'T. BE. PERFECT. You'll fail everyone. You'll fail yourself.''

Me: AAGGGHHHH!!!! THIS WHOLE IDEA ABOUT DISTANCING MYSELF FROM STRESS, IS NOT WORKING!!

Anyway, I think I stress out over little things too much! :P But with the ever-dependable advice of Strider, I have been brought back to my senses and I'll finish up the backround this week.

It'll be up by Sunday, at the lastest. Possibly sooner! :D
