Sounds like a poor excuse to me. :P I think they just have a sticky note up in the Mod Tower that says "Can someone pick up some creamer? WA drank it all. Also, reject any KOTOS topics that get submitted. Thanks" or something like that. :P

It's clear they have no wish to accommodate us. My opinion is that we should just stick to Classics and do our thing there, without bothering with any other forums. The SA Planning Topic can be used as our new "chat topic".
